EUROPROPULSION

Europropulsion S.A. (50% Avio, 50% Ariane Group) is a company founded in 1986 by Avio and French Safran to ensure cooperation between France and Italy on the European launchers Ariane and Vega. The company has the goal to control the development of big solid rocket motors for space launchers, in the frame of programs carried on under the ESA umbrella and based on financial contributions by the Italian and French governments.
