Colleferro, 3 May 2016 – The Director General of the ESA (European Space Agency), JanWörner, paid a visit to AVIO, together with Roberto Battiston, President of the ASI (Italian Space Agency). The guests were greeted by the CEO of AVIO, Giulio Ranzo.
Colleferro, 9 March 2016 – The European launcher Ariane 5 has successfully completed its 85th mission, sending the EUTELSAT 65 WEST A satellite into orbit.
Colleferro, 3 March 2016 - AVIO has completed and delivered a major satellite propulsion system to its customer, confirming its expertise in space propulsion systems for satellites as well as launchers. AVIO engineers at Colleferro developed the CPPS (Chemical Propulsion Subsystem) for the EDRS-C geostationary satellite.
About a hundred of the main European experts in space launchers gathered at Colleferro, near Rome, for a project in which the AVIO Group has a leading role both for the new space motors and especially for the VEGA C orbital launcher.
Colleferro, 28 January 2016 – AVIO celebrates the first success of 2016 with the flight of the Ariane 5 launcher which last night propelled the Intelsat 29e satellite into orbit.
